At Ilanga Nature, our commitment goes beyond eco-responsibility and local production. We believe that supporting the education and well-being of young people is essential for a sustainable future in Madagascar. That is why we chose to work with Hope Madagascar, an association dedicated to the growth and guidance of young people.
Hope Madagascar: a mission focused on young people
Founded in May 2025, Hope Madagascar supports young Malagasy people by offering psychological support and tools to guide them in their academic and professional paths. The association works closely with schools and local stakeholders to provide programmes tailored to teenagers' real needs. Thanks to its initiatives, many young people receive essential support that helps them understand themselves better, make the right choices and move forward with confidence.
Invaluable support for Ilanga Nature during the events of 25 September
During the events of 25 September, Hope Madagascar gave invaluable support to the Ilanga Nature team in Madagascar. Following a donation we made to the association, they provided psychological follow-up sessions for our staff, helping our team get through this crisis with more calm and clarity. Their help was a real pillar, reminding us of the importance of human well-being at the heart of every solidarity initiative.
Talks in partner secondary schools
As part of our collaboration with Hope Madagascar, Naya Laurent, co-director of Ilanga Nature, led a session at one of our partner secondary schools. She presented her work, shared her experiences and encouraged the students to look at their future with ambition and confidence. This exchange helped the young people better understand the professional world and imagine fulfilling career paths in line with their aspirations. The session was a valuable opportunity for the students to discover new perspectives and boost their motivation.
